“Your Mental Health Matters and it Matters to Me.”

Hello and welcome, my name is Chay and I am a fully qualified Person-Centred counsellor, registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and fully insured.

I have an abundance of experience working with a wide range of diverse clients who have Depression, Anxiety, Loss, Bereavement, Anger, Trauma, Resentment, LGBTQ+ identity, ASD (Autism), ADHD and Stress. Having worked with a wide range of diverse clients, from young adults to older adults, to varied values, beliefs and cultures, everyone is welcome and you will be seen and heard. With that, you will be warmly welcomed, supported and listened to throughout without judgement.

The sessions are safe and confidential and will be at your pace.

I will help guide you through your thoughts and feelings, as well as highlighting any patterns or links. Working this way helps my clients to gain self clarity and to process what you share with me. I have had clients explain to me that their thoughts are like spaghetti, all messed up in their head, feeling confused and unclear on how to become unstuck in their situation. I will listen with empathy and compassion and help you to make sense of your mind by reflecting what I am hearing in a way where you can understand yourself, which can create personal change and growth.

I have also worked with clients that have felt numb or suppressed their feelings and thoughts so much that they struggle to feel or function again. This is common and you are not alone. Each session, I will help you to connect your mind and body, so that you are able to feel and express, which transpires into building healthy relationships.

recent client feedback

I found it useful to talk through my thoughts and feelings with someone that especially understood things from a neurodiverse perspective and with someone who was empathetic and caring.

Chay helped me think more about my health condition and how it affects my life and encouraged me to accept my challenges whilst also acknowledging them.”

I have a Person-Centred Counselling Degree, Registered Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy MBACP and fully insured.

I have attended an extensive Creative Counsellors fellowship, where I can work creatively with many tools to help unlock and bring the unconscious into the conscious and mindfulness techniques.

Throughout the pandemic, I worked as a Counsellor for a Carers Support Charity that helps carers with their mental health struggles. This included clients who have: Stress, feeling overwhelmed, resentment, anger, anxiety, depression, isolation, anxiety, personal losses (work, social life etc), bereavement, exhaustion, guilt and more.
